Frequent network congestion messages
I'm now starting to see frequent network congestion messages which follow the picture freezing momentarily. This is in addition to the no network connection message I keep getting, and all of this is happening on the firestick. The network congestion messages just started in the last 24 hours.
I don't know what I can do to get this resolved so that I have a better viewing experience. I have At&t internet and the best they can give me is 100mb. No other device other than the DirecTV app on the firestick has connection issues.

First try clearing cache and data on the Fire Stick. Then suggest you restart your environment (modem, router, and device).

I've cleared the app cache but that didn't do anything. I unplugged the router and waited a few minutes and plugged it back in. I'll see if that does anything.

What's the actual internet download speed at your FireStick location? Are you connecting via WiFi? How far away is your wireless modem/router? You may discover that the download speed is much slower than 100Mbps at your FireStick location.

Reset the router and then went out for a bit. Come back and turn on the TV with the stream box. First thing - no picture and no sound. Turn off the box and turn it back on - no network connection message. It gives me the opportunity to run diagnostics - diagnostic never finishes after several minutes. Turn off the box and turn it back on - DirecTV stream box is offline. Then another prompt - are your other devices working. I answer yes, and then the next prompt is to run a network diagnostic. Yep, after it didn't work the first time, that's exactly what I want do again.
I reset the box, and it's taking a long time to get back up and running again. Box is currently on WiFi because DirecTV support assured me that my issues will definitely be resolved by switching from wired to wireless.
Same issues occuring almost daily now. I don't have working service at this point.
Edit: stream box would not work (not even the diagnostic test) until I connected the Ethernet cable. Why is this the case if the box has Wi-Fi. All my other devices reconnected to Wi-Fi after the router restart.
I have a three floor home. Router is on the main floor. Tested Wi-Fi speed in three places: upstairs (37.56mbps), main floor (64.81mbps), basement (50.77).

I have Orbi , 3 routers mesh, it can do 6 BG, I just run 300 mb up/dn. Have new Sony Bravia TV's, Firesticks, Fire Cube, and again, I have been getting Network congestion and it literally keeps me from being able to view anything on my 2 million channels. We have Fiber Optic Cable 2 blocks from the Cable Office here.. Oregon. Small town, so not many accounts to plug up the bits and bytes.. The dishes, repeaters, etc, are literally on a hill nearby with direct aim to my home... no excuse for this... IMHO
