What is loud? Does it tell you which channel you are changing to or?

The volume of the Google Assistant is significantly louder than the program I was watching. Louder than commercials.  When I press mic and ask it to change channels it responds very loudly AND changes channel. My wife's Google Assistant does not increase it's volume .

Is it like making the speakers crackle loud? It's probably better to be loud and heard instead of being too low with it's response.

We appreciate your patience, @Ludwick577.

In order to manage setting for Google Assistant Voice for your Directv receivers, please view the following steps:

  • Accounts: Provide the Google Account user ID.
  • View Permissions: Displays the current settings within their Google Account Activity Controls. Activity Controls - Screenshot
  • Searchable Apps: Displays apps on the DIRECTV STREAM Device with the option to toggle ON/Off the search settings. Searchable Apps - Screenshot
    • When toggled Off, the app does not display within the Google Assistant search results.
  • Block Offensive words: The Google Assistant filters any offensive words.
    • By default, this setting is ON.

Let us know if this helps!
