Google play app will not open to add new password. I have Direct tv streaming.
Google play app will not open to add new password. When I select Google play app
I see the message “ Authentication is required . You need to sign in to your Google Account.”
But where do I sign in at to update the app?

Try restarting your directv stream box.

You need to have a Google account to use Google Play Store. You can create one on another device such as a laptop, phone, or tablet. If you currently have one use the email address and password of your Google account to sign in.

I have a google account and I updated it a new password on my iPhone.
So now the Google play app will not open under apps on my DIRECTV stream.
