Guide format

Since the guide update on the direct tv stream app the guide is missing the channel name and icons. If I delete the app and reinstall the channel names and icons appear for a day or so and then disappear again. This is on Amazon fire tv. This is a huge inconvenience …Please let me know when this will be fixed.

@Eurobeat70065 yup it’s been happening over a week now. It’s been broken ever since they “updated” the guide. Considering that DIRECTV stream is the most expensive streaming services available, they should probably have this resolution fixed a lot sooner….or offer credits until they fix the issue.

Not missing on my Fire Sticks. All have channel numbers, names, and logos.

It is an intermittent issue with my Fire Sticks. Yesterday all 3 were without logos, today only 1 is missing logos. 

Be specific about which firestick. 4k max missing logos. Exit, re-enter, restored. 

It seems lit all of the Amazon fire tv products. I have a fire tv cube, 4k stick and an older fire tv stick. All will not show the chanel names and icons in the guideand if you restart, clear cache or reinstall the app the problem is usually fixed temporarily. Direct TV said they’re working on a “fix” for a week now.

Have 4k max and 4ks. 4k max main device and logos disappear. 4ks, one disappear and one not, leaves one scratching their head.

I have the same issue with multiple 4K and 4K Max Firesticks. Reboots and reinstall have only worked for a few hours or more. This is super frustrating and should have been fixed already. Please get this fault corrected. 

What I appear to be experiencing is the first time the DirecTV streaming app is used after installing the app, or after rebooting the FireStick, it shows the channel icons in the guide.  If the app is exited, there are no icons after re-entering the app.

Same exact scenario for me! O am also tired of all the filters on the left side of the screen that never go away...waste of screen space.

Well at least I am not in a contract.  What is the best alternative streaming service if this thing doesn't get fixed soon?

Depends on what you want and need. YouTube TV or Hulu TV are options.

Have any of you with the Firestick logo issues tried going into the apps and deleting the cache ?
