Guide is stuck on Recent

I can no longer use the Direct TV Stream “Guide”.  When I click on “Guide” it opens up left toolbar showing “All” “Recent” “Favorites”, etc. and highlights “Recent”.  I cannot move to any of the other tabs on the toolbar.  It’s stuck on “Recent”.  So, I can no longer see the Guide to see what program is on what channel at what time.  Help!

Hisense offers different models with AndroidTV/GoogleTV, FireTV, and RokuTV built-in, so I assume it's one of those.  It's quite possible that they recently released an app update for one or more platforms that broke this - I'm not that impressed with their QA.  I did just check on a FireStick that I believe is up to day, and it didn't show this problem.

What streaming device are you using?

Have you tried resetting the device? Or deleting and reinstalling the DirecTV Stream App?

I am having the very same issue on a Samsung.  I have reinstalled the app and still stuck in RECENT.

Of course, it's a Samsung. The app is known to have issues with Samsung. 100's of post on the Samsung. Use an external streaming device.

As mentioned, the Samsung app is junk. Get an external streaming device.
