HBO Max problem

I have had trouble opening HBO Max on my smart TV for the past three days! This message appears every time:

Something Went Wrong

Sorry, we're having trouble communicating with the service. Please close the app and try again.

I've done that three times with no success. We want our HBO Max back!

Have you tried deleting and reinstalling the App?

If the problem is with your smart tv and not a Dtv device you need to contact the tv manufacturer or post in one of their forums.

There doesn't appear to be any connection here with DirecTV Stream - you apparently aren't using the DirecTV streamer.  You might get more help asking in the HBO Max forum (which is under the AT&T forums, so if you don't already have a login for those, you will need to create one).  Try here.
