HBO MAX
I just signed up for Choice streaming and am supposed to get 3 months free of HBO MAX, Showtime and Cinemax. I go to HBO app and try signing in and it won't recognize my account, how do I activate this?

You need the HBO Max app.

Thanks, I do have it and it asks me to sign in, which I do under the provider that is giving me HBO and that is Directv Stream. That is where it tells me it doesn't recognize my account. So Direct isn't telling HBO I have it free for 3 months. That is what I am trying to find out.

Have you verified that you get it by logging into your account and checking the subscription status?
