How can I get DIRECTV to stream on my iPhone app?

DirecTV or DirecTV Stream? Either way you just download the app from the Apple store, enter your credentials associated to the correct service, and then enjoy.

Which app did you download? Directv or Directv stream? And which do you have a subscription to? Satellite or stream?

Apple TV only offers the Stream app and I have Satellite.

Well they are 2 different paid subscription services. Your credentials are not cross platform supported. You will need to subscribe and pay for the DirecTV Stream service to use it.

Fact! DirecTV Stream is a different service then the DirecTV (satellite) service.

The DIRECTV STREAM app is only for users of the DIRECTV STREAM service. If you want to stream DIRECTV Satellite, you can use the DIRECTV app instead, which is only compatible with mobile devices, and from the website.

All you have to do is look at the Directv website there is a different area for their satellite service vs stream.
