How do I get in touch with DTV Stream for existing customers
I have been trying for over 2 hours and 11 different phone #'s to switch from DTV Satellite to DTV Stream I am also an ATT customer and no one at either site can connect me.. @ + hours of my time and 11 different phone #'s.. Can anyone out there help me. Thank you in advice.. Oreagle

DIRECTV satellite and DIRECTV STREAM are two separate services. You can’t get in contact with one to cancel the other. You will need to call DIRECTV (number in my greeting below) and say ‘cancel’ to be sent to the retention department. Be sure to say that you are calling about the service ‘DIRECTV’ and NOT ‘DIRECTV STREAM.’
Once you have cancelled DIRECTV, you may need to return leased equipment at a participating FedEx/UPS location. Be sure to KEEP the shipping receipt. Additionally, if you are currently in a contract, you have to pay $20 a month for each month left on the contract.
I will also mention that you can sign up for DIRECTV STREAM right now by using a different email address. If you use the same email address as DIRECTV satellite, it won’t work. Reasons for doing this are comparing services and trying DIRECTV STREAM before you cancel satellite.

You can sign up for Dtv stream on their website. There is no "switching" between services.

To avoid account confusion it's best to create your new DirecTV Stream account with a different email address than your DirecTV Satellite account. You can create that now. Then cancel DirecTV Satellite at your convenience.
