You sign into the DirecTV Stream App on your Roku using your DirecTV Stream user name and password. I assume you have DirecTV Stream, not DirecTV Satellite?

No. I think that is what I am asking. I have DIRECTV. Was wondering if direct tv stream is free with it.

No. DirecTV Satellite and DirecTV Stream are separate services.

DirecTV is a satellite service .
DirecTV Stream is a streaming service.
They are 2 different service's.

For DIRECTV Satellite Services you have DIRECTV app to stream your programing. DIRECTV STREAM is a different services which requires a different subscription.

Of course but you can imagine when someone is paying almost $200 a month for a service that a streaming app could be included. It’s insane. No thanks. No paying twice.

You have access to the DIRECTV App to stream your DIRECTV satellite services at no extra cost. You just need to log in by using the same credentials that you use in the website to handle your account.

There's not much reason to subscribe to both DirecTV Satellite and DirecTV Stream. They both offer essentially the same channel packages. Satellite service requires a clear view of the southern sky. Stream service requires fast internet service.

DTV help told the OP twice there is an app for Dtv satellite service. Omg.
Also, no rain fade/snow fade with Dtv stream :)
