How do you tell what you have watched?

Under my recordings. Let's say I have 10 episodes of call me cat or the Flash.

I can't figure out. What episodes I've watched in what I have not watched?

I see no indication of the watched episodes.

If you watch an episode halfway through, there is a blue line under the episode.

But if you watch the entire episode, it shows up as a new.

Episode that has not been watched. Help me out guys. This is driving me crazy!

Hi @warlockweary,  we are happy to help.

At the moment the best option that we can recommend is to delete the episode as soon as you finished watching it. The system only recognizes the records that are activate, however when it is finished, it leaves it there in the recording list to give the opportunity to rewatch it.

You can delete the episodes following these steps:

1. Press list on the remote.

2. That should bring up your recorded items.
3. Select which recordings you would liked deleted and press the delete button.
4. You should also be able to delete series of recordings by selecting them all at once, and then  press the delete options.
5. It should give you a prompt and ask are you sure you want to delete these.

Let us know how it works.

On the Dtv Stream box there is a progress bar on shows watched in the Dvr list--showing how much you have watched.

Thanks DIRECTVhelp for the answer ...

However that is not the answer I wanted ..

seems to me that it would be really easy to just " mark it " watched.

or just keep the Blue progress line there always! after watching.

Anyway we can add THAT to the Must have features ???!!!

We appreciate that you take the time to reach us about this situation, @warlockweary

We will pass the feedback along so this idea can be taken into consideration for future updates of the app. As of now, we recommend you to delete the recordings you already watched to keep track of the following shows/Programming.

Better yet then, add user profiles.  Current system is a failure to acknowledge that some families watch overlapping shows not at the same time.  So either add profiles, or show what have been watched.  These are must haves (and honestly why I will go back to YouTubeTV soon if this continued to agitate).
