How to Report a Wrong Channel Number

They must have some of the local channels that way. I have a channel that is 33 in my area but 14 on directv stream

All my locals are correct except one.

CBS (31) - Correct

NBC (25) - Correct

FOX (43) - Correct

PBS (47) - Correct

ABC (26) - Incorrect, should be 19

ABC 26 is a Chicago station over 150 miles away and unable to be tuned in with an OTA antenna.

Well I just subscribed two days ago and it was like this from the start. And yes it's happening on all my devices (Firesticks).

Note that the content is correct and is channel 19 but the guide has it listed as 26.

According to my info the correct abc channel for your zip code is 26, it is actually station WEEKD2.  There's lots of simulcasting in your area so its possible the station logo on your screen says channel 19 because that's where the programming is originating

Same thing on my laptop. This is not a device issue.

why do you think it should be 19?

Because our local station has always been ABC 19. If you time into the news it's ABC 19. Not 26.

I have never had a cable service where the local channel numbers did not match.

According to WEEK channel's wikipedia ---that company simulcasts several channels. NBC news, WB, ABC, ION. The digital channel number for subchannels are 19 dot. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/WEEK-TV

the directv satellite locals list for that zip shows it as channel 26, I assume that's where it came from.

Well thanks for all the responses.  I guess the bottom line is I'm happy that the content is that of WHOI channel 19 in Peoria and not ABC channel 26 out of Chicago.  For as long as I can remember, and I'm 60 years old, ABC for the Peoria area has always been ABC HOI (Heart of Illinois).  As a child I always tuned the UHF TV knob to 19. 

If you look them up in Wikipedia, it also shows channel 19.  Even my previous providers like I3 Broadband, Comcast/Xfinity and Mediacom had them as channel 19.  I guess I'm just perplexed where DirecTV came up with channel 26 for WHOI ABC.

@muzicman61, let me clarify this for you, ABC channel for your zip code is number 26 you can review the details here. In addition, due to the simulcast of some programming in your area, the number 19 could appear on your screen.
