How to stop Next Episode from starting before the current episode ends
When I’m watching an episode, the Next Episode feature pops up and only allows 10 seconds before the next episode begins. However, the current episode is not over and I end up missing the end of the current episode. Is there a way to eliminate the next episode feature, or add more seconds to the Next Episode feature?

Disable the AutoPlay Next Episode feature in the Settings Menu. Of course, it would help to know what streaming device you're using.
