How to watch the San Diego Padres on Bally Sports SD while being in Iowa

If I subscribe to Directv stream, get sports pack with Bally Sports San Diego, using my home address and credit card with billing zip code which is in San Diego, can I access & watch Bally Sports SD while on job assignment in Iowa, either on my computer, my smart TV or even on dvr if my wife tapes all games from our directv stream account in San Diego

DVR content is accessible anywhere, so if the games are scheduled to record for you by someone at your home, you will be able to watch them when you are out of the area,

Wait, so if you use a billing address for, say, your parents in Michigan, but you live in Florida, you can get the Michigan RSNs at your house in Florida?
And does it work the same with roku/firestick?

Yah but your credit card might get denied when it's billing time and you don't have the correct billing address--it has to match your credit card.

May or may not. If your parents want to let you use their address and CC info then that becomes the base.  Realize the home is established on the setup of the device and app. So make sure you do everything at the home base not away from it.

Thank you Ludwick and bcbsncjij for the feedback. I guess I'm still confused in that I thought the idea of a roku, or laptop, is the mobility of it. So, in theory, if someone lives in NY, but has a weekend home in Boston, would they be getting the Yankee game on the NY RSN while spending the weekend in their second home in Boston?  Or does it just recognize the geolocation of the roku and go by that, so as soon as they are out of the NY area, it switches over to the Boston feed?
Thanks for the chat; this stuff is illuminating.

RSN's can be somewhat tricky at times. In general, since Roku and Fire Sticks do not have GPS or location services the default is your home base locals and RSN's. There is no guarantee. I travel a lot since I have retired and  99% of time I get my home locals and RSN's using Roku or Fire Sticks. There has been a few instances where I don't.
