Individual Profiles?!?

How can I create individual profiles for my household?

If it’s not available yet, WHEN will it be?

Individual Profiles are very important otherwise everything just becomes very congested and hard for everyone to navigate through to find their own saved items such as; guide favorites, bookmarks, recordings, etc

If it’s not already available PLEASE make it a priority to have it added SOON!

Thank you so much

Sincerely,

-January (Edited as per the community guidelines) and “The Whole World” ;P

As you've discovered, you cannot create individual DirecTV Stream profiles. Nobody here knows when or if that will ever be offered.

@chasf00 AT&T still owns 70% of Directv so to see an AT&T moderator in the Directv forum is not surprising because they can go back and forth between them and make comments just like everyone else.

Actually, having forum moderators from AT&T doesn't really have to do with AT&T owning a majority of DirecTV - it has to do with DirecTV contracting with AT&T for forum services, the same as they do for account management services.  It's apparently cheaper for them to do that than run their own, especially since both of those services were already set up when DirecTV was part of AT&T.

As far as profiles go - they've been requested pretty much since the service started - certainly pretty early in 2017 (when the service was owned by AT&T and called DirecTV Now). The end of 2017 or the beginning of 2018, a (vague) mention was made at an AT&T press event (or maybe quarterly report) that profiles (along with a number of other features) would be added in the next year or so.  Some of those features were added, though I don't think any were added that quickly - others still haven't arrived.  Profiles are obviously in the latter category.

Will they ever add profiles?  Maybe - though even if they do, there is a range of facilities they could provide under that name, so just having "profiles" doesn't necessarily mean they will do what you want.
