Intermittant loss of sound

When using the various Roku devices and Directv Stream I will have episodes where the sound will disappear for 1-2 seconds, 2 or 3 times.  Unplugging the device for a minute solves the problem, but it will recur.  This is becoming very annoying.  I see notes from a year ago about this.

What model - Ultra? I have not experienced the issue with the 4K stick or Roku 3 or 4. Been reports of the Ultra model having some sound issues. Seems to be hit or miss. Is your audio Dolby or Stereo? Have you tried testing different settings?

Main TV is a Roku StreamBar.  2nd TV is a Roku Streaming Stick  It is hit or miss.  I believe the audio is Stereo with the stick and Dolby with the Streambar.  Has not been happening when I use the Roku with Peacock streaming.

Thanks for the reply.

Went through all of the reset steps.  I am watching and so far seems to have stoped the issue.  Will keep you posted.

CNBC always has audio issues, the volume goes up or down, or audio is garbled, moving up a channel and down back to the channel corrects the issue.  similar to the audio problem with the early service when the issue was with commercial breaks.

Service must acknowledge the problem which ATT never has, before it will be fixed.

instead  of customers trying to solve the issue for themselves, why not have DIRECTV Staff work with ROKU, first by acknowledging the problem, and then analyzing the issue and developing a fix for all

this individual user approach is like ... into the wind

ALTERNATIVES:  Any recommendations from the community for better streaming services that don't have the frequent audio issues?
