What locals you may receive depends on where you live. If your zip code does not reside in the viewing area, then you will not receive the channel. Just like any other local channel.
That I know. My question is KTLA considered a local. Or is it considered a network because it’s CW and right now I don’t get CW. I would hope since DIRECTV stream does not provide CW that we all get KTLA.
This is welcome news to finally get KTLA. I hope cord cutters is a reliable source and this is true. That is the only source about this change that I can see and it’s not written very well. Maybe they added on to a previous posting.

Yes, the CW is considered a local. It will only be available if your home location is within the designated DMA.
