Lightning to hdmi audio not working

I sometimes use my iPhone and the lightning to hdmi dongle to watch tv on a larger screen. It has worked fine for the last year or so. I recently upgraded to iOS 16 and noticed that I no longer get audio thru the directv stream app. I have video with no sound. When I use other apps like Netflix, there is no issue. I have video and audio as always. Is anyone else having this problem and is there a fix?
