My problem started months ago. AT&T told me a water main break for 1st outage. After that if a bad storm Directv goes out. All other apps work. Rebooted everything, plugged unplugged, etc. usually came back on after 4 to 10 hours later.
4 days ago storm, same thing. This time Directv wouldn’t work with all of my steps. AT&T tech rebooted the system from their end. I finally got Directv on 1 tv connected to AT&T equipment.
Have to delete and add back DirectTV app again once or twice a day at different times of the day. No pattern so far of when app will fail.
I have 1 Roku Streambar and 2 Streaming sticks HD/4/HDR

This has nothing to do with DirecTV satellite. The issue is with Rokus on the internet streaming service DirecTV Stream

It would probably be quicker and more efficient if people posted their Roku OS version number and Directv app version number. That way we could see if there is a trend for people with problems vs. people with no problems.

YES and I'm about to cancel my DirecTv and try Sling or another provider. Sick and tired of deleting and reinstalling on both my TVs with Rokus. One is Roku Ultra and one is Streaming Stick. It happens more on the Stick. And it seems to affect the other one once it has happened on the Stick and I've deleted/reinstalled.

I have a Roku Ultra and for the last week I have had to remove and reinstall DIRECTV Stream app. I have a tv with a Fire stick and do not have this issue.

For those of you experiencing the Roku issue---are you exiting out of the app using the "cancel / exit" popup? Or using the home button on the Roku remote? I know a couple of months ago firestick users had glitches when people weren't exiting out of the app using the exit popup and using the home button instead. U can usually get the exit popup by using the back button on your remote when using the Dtv Stream app. Check to see if the load issue happens after you exit with the app popup.

@Ludwick577 I don't know about everyone else, but we always just hit the home button on the Roku remote to exit out to open a different app from the main Roku page. We never did a full exit out and never had the issue we're now having with the app until about the past week or two.
