Losing sound on on demand channels

When I’m watching on demand programs, going from episode to episode, there will be some episodes with no sound.

What streaming device are you using?

How is it connected to your TV? Soundbar? AV Receiver?

It’s a direct tv issue, it’s an intermittent problem depending on the episode that you choose. All audio on tv work perfectly all the time

No soundbars or additional audio devices. Streaming device is Samsung TV

The Samsung TV DirecTV Stream App is junk. You'll have much better experience with a $30 Roku or FireStick.

Well, I think you might just be right. We went and watched it on a different TV that uses Roku and it worked perfectly.
