manage recordings on Directv Stream

I am relatively new to the DirecTV Stream service. Previously using DirecTV Satellite I had an option to Mange recordings.

This enabled me to set up recording for a show and adjust the start/stop times. As well as recording the current series it would automatically record when a new season started. I do not see any similar option on Directv Stream.

Questions

If I set up recordings for a series will the recording automatically take place for subsequent series or do I need to recreate the recording option when a new series begins?

How long is the recording information retained and can I list the shows that are set for recordings even if they are not currently being aired?

Right now, there's no place like a Series Manager - this has been one of the top asks from the users; basically a better way to manage DVR, like better sorting, filtering, check which series we're recording, etc.

Currently, you must go to each series and check if the "Series Set to Record" banner is enabled with the three red dots. Because content providers constantly change the guide metadata/move episodes around, you can only see the next 48-72 hours in the Upcoming Recordings list.

Feel free to ask more. To be honest, if you're a person who records TV series, I'd highly recommend the Unlimited DVR option to be able to have a 30 episode limit instead of 10 and 20hrs of DVR.

Hi there. I'll be glad to provide you with clarity on the recording's features. Once you set up a series to be recorded only that series is going to be recorded for a new series you need to create a new setup for that series.

The record information is available for 9 months from the day the program was recorded or after the storage is full the oldest records that you have are going to be deleted. However, this does not happen if you have unlimited DVR.

You can see programs in Upcoming Recordings 2 days before they’re scheduled to air. You can have more information on the following link https://www.directv.com/support/stream/article/000093680 If you have any inquiries about this information you can reach out to us. Thanks for the quick response. Can you confirm that I am unable to view this information even though the record information (not the recorded program) is available for 9 months?

Be aware @aglhunt that your DVR has a limit of 30 episodes per series. Read this one https://www.directv.com/support/stream/article/KM1227364

Thanks I am on the 20hr option which limits me to 10 episodes.

I looked at the link that you provided and it has the following note

"Once the maximum episode limit is met, the oldest recorded episode will be automatically deleted first (within 9 months or less) to make room for the next recorded episode."

So I believe the first response I received is misleading.

I want to see what shows have been set up to record regardless of when they will be shown. For example if a series is set to record but due to program scheduling will not be broadcast within a week How can I determine whether the series has been set up to record.

We are new to DirecTV streaming and we would like to have more than 30 episodes be an option in the future. We would also like to have the ability to organize our recordings and have TV shows under one folder and movies under the other. How do we make our requests known to DirecTV in a way that we know will go to the person that can do something about it?

I am not able to find all of the ones that I recorded for Aerial America. It says I have 200 different ones recorded for Aerial America and they are not all listed on my  library for directv stream. It shows S1 1-75 and thats all. I would appreciate any help with this situation. Thank you in advance.
