My app keeps scrolling won’t stop
my direct tv app on the guide or home page keeps scrolling won’t stop can’t do anything can only watch whatever channel it decides to stop on. Is not doing this on any other apps on my tv. It’s a Roku tv. And it’s not doing it on other 2 tvs either. I can’t pick channels or previous channels and scrolls to hours later not current time

If rebooting your Roku doesn't help, then delete and reinstall the DirecTV Stream App.

I’ve already deleted and added it back like 3 times just comes right on the channel it was on. Also factory reset the whole tv? It’s only doing it on the direct tv app not any of my others

@Saltymom @daveschmidtt which specific Rokus do you have? I have a Roku 3 (4230X2 - 2013) and all is good here. I wonder if it's happening on specific models :/

It happened to me a couple of days ago, TCL Roku tv. I have 2 TV’s, but only had the trouble. Had to restart my tv.

@GTyz I have a Roku Ultra, model 4660X.
I’ve tried a brand new remote, reset my Roku, uninstalled the DirecTV app. The odd part is that the mobile Roku app allows me to control the channels with no issues. But the Roku remotes will skip 1-3 channels every time. It ONLY happens on this app too.

@daveschmidtt give this a try like @doo4usc44 suggested (even though he has a TCL) - it might work - Settings/System/Power/System Restart

In such cases, as I am using the Roku TV, I specifically perform a Soft Reset on my TV and if this doesn't work, I just examine the remote because sometimes the Roku remote going crazy by scrolling the screen on its own. And once I fix the remote, the problem gets solved.
