Hi @Loritechen Yes. You can record the event the time it last. And if you need to record the next show, it’s possible too. Remember that sports events are subject to change. Due to these broadcast rights and legal arrangements, certain games might not be available. Here’s a step-by-step on how to do it: https://www.directv.com/support/article/000093680 Valentina, DIRECTV Community Specialist

@DIRECTVhelp - was that supposed to be English?  And was the link you provided supposed to address the poster's question?  Hint - it didn't.  Your link was an article about DTV satellite, while the poster was asking about Stream - hopefully you are aware that there aren't the same thing.

@Loritechen -There is currently no way to "manually" set a recording to longer than its scheduled time.  (That feature has be requested for years - for unknown reasons, they haven't directly addressed it.)  What they have provided is that recording automatically extend to the length of the program/event for some sporting events, as briefly explained in the last paragraph of this support article.  Unfortunately, NASCAR is not one of the sports this works for.  So the best you can do right now (as the DTV rep was perhaps trying to say) is to also record the program scheduled after the program you are interested in.

Thanks,

Jrandomuser

I kinda fingered as much.

but hey Direct tv Stream,

If it’s too hard to figure out overtime, then how about the option on recordings that is available to extend the recording and I also use the feature of recording a channel for a set period of time, both of those features are available on DTV Sattellite.
thanks
