New guide not showing channel logos except after a restart of my FireStick
Love the new guide, but I keep having to restart my FireStick to see the Channel name/logo each time. When I restart, I can see the channel name/logo, but if I leave and come back they are gone again.

They always DM issues that way they have no excuse to the forum when they can't resolve the issue. When they do resolve a issue it's never shared.

Response from DirecTV Stream support: Our team is aware and working to resolve it as soon as possible. At the moment, the issue is only reported on the Fire TV's. Other kind of devices are working normally.

Has the guide been fixed on fire TV? Now clearing cache and reinstalling the app doesn’t fix the problem anymore. This has been ever since the guide update… super annoying

On 4k max exit then re-open app. Icons appear but not permanently.

Same situation here on multiple(4) firesticks. I’ve done hard restarts and even firetv factory reset. Still has the same issue. I chatted with DIRECTV support and no joy again. Appears as if a programming/coding mistake was made and no one at DIRECTV’s immediate disposal has been able to figure it out. I’ve reverted to moving the cursor box all the way to the left (blank icon box). You then can see the channel description at the top but then have to move the box back over any show for the specific show information. This is a (Edited per community guidelines) considering the premium streaming price we pay. Seems DIRECTV would make this a priority to fix, a good engineer should be able to figure this out.

I have a Firestick 4k and don't have this issue. Do you have a 4k max? Mine is just 4k.

@albertls my thoughts exactly… I think Dirct tv is the most expensive streaming service available. This has been an issue for almost 3 weeks now. I guessyou don’t always get what you pay for.

I only bought the firestick 4k because the Directv app does not work correctly on my super expensive samsung tv. To get around this i bought a firestick. Now I have issues using directv stream on the firestick? Might as well have 2 cans connected by a string so directv can give me a narrative of the shows.

@Twominimes Is the app on your firestick 4k updated? My firestick 4k doesn't have issues with the logos. Current software is 4.0.31.36712 Make sure that is what your firestick has.

Thanks @Ludwick577 . After factory reset i thought it would auto apply the update. Will see if it sticks, it usually shows icons for a while and then they disappear.

@Ludwick577 the issue still exists. As usual, you do resets and it works for a short period of time and then goes back to not showing station identification.

@Twominimes When you use the app---if you exit using the home button on the remote that is why you aren't seeing the logos. Exit the app using the back button on the firestick remote so you see the Dtv stream app popup "are you sure you want to exit"--then hit exit. Do this every time you exit the app. Should solve the logo issue.
