New Guide
Hello everyone....I tried out this service several months ago and really liked it but the guide info was very small and difficult to read unless I was close to the TV....I have read a few posts on here where some said the guide is much larger and easier to read now since the new update ...can anyone comfirm that is using the directv stream box ( osprey) if anything changed with this update or does the guide still have small info such as when viewing more info on a specific show or program? any input much appreciated....

I suggest you do a free trial and make that judgement for yourself. What one finds satisfactory may not be at all to another.

I have an Osprey box and I don't think the guide has ever been hard to read--old one or new one. There is an accessibility setting under preferences also "high contrast text" not sure if you tried that out a few months ago. What size tv do you have? Maybe you should think about getting a larger size.

Thanks for the input.....yeah I thought about doing a 5 day free trial just to see if anything has improved. I just don't want to have to go through the hassle of calling them to cancel. Ludwick577 I guess my eyes aren't as good anymore; my 72yo mom and I both thought the guide information was very small compared to Uverse TV and Directv Satellite.......other than that though I actually loved the service. Right now I'm still clinging on to Uverse because I know if I cancel we can never get it back but the problem with Uverse is its kinda dated and whenever you have problems and need replacement receivers, etc they don't give you new ones. Uverse has been great but I really like the new streaming service because its got all the streaming apps plus your tv channels all in one small box .... decisions decisions.....thanks to both of you anyway for the response.
