NFL game I want to watch not in guide based on my location
The “local” NFL team is programmed for the time/channel slot.
I searched account profile & other setting to see if I could change my location, didn’t see anything. Maybe location is based on billing address.
Is there a trick to change location so that I can see preferred game?

Your "home" location is indeed based on your billing address, and there are no "tricks" (at least reliable ones) to allow you to change this. The limitation is (we believe) part of the contract that DirecTV has with the networks, in order to satisfy the networks' affiliate agreements.

Hi @scratch67! Let's bring some light into this. Thanks for your comment! @Jrandomuser.
Currently we only have the option to switch the locaton with DIRECTV STREAM services, nonetheless the NFL Sunday Ticket subscription is only available with DIRECTV Satellite. Please let us know if you have further questions or concerns.
Thank you for contacting us!

You don't. Home location is based on your billing address.

I was talking about the Dtv stream box (for settings--preferences) you never made it clear what you were using to access dtv stream. I believe this updates your IP address location.

As is common, the @DIRECTVhelp rep screwed up. In their response, the word "only" should have been "don't" - as in "we don't have the option to switch the location".
That restriction is likely part of their contracts with the networks (in support of their local affiliates) and the RSNs. (For cable and streaming, it is actually by FCC regulation.) Offering additional options (not instead) is possible, but it costs money, and unless/until DirecTV Stream sets up a way to offer a sports package or similar so they charge only the subscribers who want it, I really hope it doesn't happen - there are a huge percentage of subscribers (like me) who would have zero interest in being forced to pay for that, and would walk.
