NFL on Fox being blacked out for streaming

I am getting this message "

This content isn't available to stream on this service.
The regular programming schedule will resume after this show ends.

30001-017"
when I tried to watch the Fox NFL pregame show, a nationally televised show. No local blackout restrictions would apply. Then when the morning game, Green Bay v Washington (DC), began that too was giving me the same message. I am in California and the chat agent tells me its usually because they are encouraging people to go to the game lol. I'm not getting on a plane to watch a game on the other side of the country, this is obviously an erroneous blackout. Then a manager tells me that they can't do anything about blackouts since they come from the broadcaster. This is on my local Fox affiliate, I can pull this channel out of the air with an antenna, there should be no regional conflicts. I was trying to get his fixed before the afternoon game so i can be assured I can watch my local 49ers game (again no blackouts should apply, game is always sold out, etc), But all I'm getting is a "sorry bud". I watched any and all local and nationally televised games and pre game shows just fine last week.

Yup, this is something that Fox Network does to limit streaming services from carrying some of their content.

I got a similar message: "DirecTv not available for streaming. The owner of this content has restricted its streaming" Error 30002-018. This occurred when I was trying to watch the NFL Game on my local Fox channel. First time it happened. All the other channels were working fine. I contacted Support and they said there's a contract negotiation. I wouldn't be surprised if it is a money issue and we can expect another rate hike if this get this settled. Still no NFL network either. Has me considering a move to a different service since the NFL games can be viewed over the air for free but can't be streamed. How lame!

Yep, sports is the only reason I even keep any sort of TV and between all the parties involved they make it harder and harder for us to watch. What a mess. At least the agents could have told me there is a contract dispute or something instead of making up excuses lol

edit: suddenly the GB/WSH game appears! What a miracle. smh. Like I mentioned before, erroneous. This begets the next question, when will the stream be inexplicably unavailable going forward with no explanation or help from DTV?

What a shocker! The game is back on now! LOL!! I wonder if DirecTV has been busy receiving a boatload of phone calls about this and threats to cancel! LOL!! I told the rep the NFL is no. 1 in America and I doubt I am the only one calling to complain about it today. Voila, it's been suddenly fixed!! Enjoy everyone!!

Same here. It didn't make any sense and I said I guess I'm gonna have to cancel. Had to have been a ton of calls that made them actually look into it instead of canned non-helpful answers. Have a great NFL sunday, we will see what happens next Sunday :/

That is weird I have had no issues with watching the games on my local fox channel.  Maybe this blackout was was done by your local station as it could have been out of market for you.
