No Internet connection message on app
So, I've been having issues with the DirecTV app on the firestick since at least December and the issue has yet to be resolved.
To add to this issue, I was recently away from home so I was connected on a public Wi-Fi. Both my phone and tablet were connected to the same WiFi source. The phone never had any issues the entire time. The tablet though, well, or consistently had issues.
DirecTV is configured to start on the last played channel. On the firestick whenever I change channels - instantly no network connection. While on the public Wi-Fi and attempting to change channels, same thing. It had a network connection and was playing video on MTV.
I was trying to watch an event on Bally sports. The DirecTV app would not cooperate and I kind of of got the Bally sports app to work before I was able to watch it directly on TV.
I now think the whole no network connection is the DirecTV app given that I've now gotten it to occur outside of my home WiFi. I also think that since I can go to Google and search DirecTV stream no network connection and see numerous posts about this across numerous devices, that it's got to be the app as the source of the issues.
