No Preview Option for On Demand?
On Demand movies don't offer any option to preview / view trailer.
Is this possible? Or am I missing some functionality?

The service has many more deficiencies to resolve than a movie preview. Don't count on this to go very far up the ladder, if it ever even goes to the developer. At least not from here. Your best option is to voice your request to a support agent via Twitter of Facebook.

When trailers for On Demand are available you can watch them through the website https://www.directv.com/movies?lpos=Header:1 You have to tap on the movie icon, and you will find the option ’Trailer ’. Well... that does seem a little inconvenient and a teeny bit out of touch with most of the other offerings on the market. Heck, even Comcast let's you preview a movie before you buy it!
Perhaps we could throw a Jira ticket in to devops and ask to have that little feature added? It would be nice to relax in front of the internet TV and not need another internet connected device to preview the movie you are asking me to purchase (and subsequently watch) on the TV.
