No sound on all Bally sports channels since yesterday
So tried watching hockey last night here in Michigan and have no sound on Bally sports. Checked other channels and it is only Bally sports channels (4 of them) where there is no sound while trying to stream on any of the TV's. Sound works while streaming on phones. What is up? We use directv stream not satellite.

What streaming device are you using?
Have you tried resetting it? Or reinstalling the App?

Samsung smart tvs. I have reinstalled the app on one tv with no change. It is so strange.

Hey! Did you get a resolution to the issue? We have the same thing here tonight with no fix after chatting to customer service. We have a Samsung tv too…. Thanks!

Same here. New Directv streaming subscriber. Only Bally Sports North channel doesn't have volume/sound on our Samsung tv. The only reason we switched from YouTube TV to Directv is because we wanted Bally Sports channels. Help please!

We still have no resolution after days of chatting and facebook messages with directv stream staff. Keep getting reedirected to do the same uninstall, reinstall and check all of the same settings over and over and over again. In the mean time, I pay for a service i cannot use. Now big ten channels also do not have sound. Their solution? To buy their streaming devices to use, so pay them more. However, my samsung tv is one of their approved samsung tvs so nope, not planning to pay more to use a service that is not working. I am waiting for the fb messenger person, KarenC, to get back to me. IT has been HOURS and still no update. A VERY UNSATISFIED CUSTOMER here. I tried chatting through the app and the stuppid automated responses kept redirecting me to the same stuff so never was connected to a real person.

We are experiencing the same issues. What we have done is play the game on the Direct stream app on our iPhone, where the sound works, and try to have the sound play through our Bluetooth speaker with the timing of the TV game- it’s ridiculous but no help from direct tv to resolve and no other way to watch our hockey game.

Thanks- we’ve already chatted with someone who couldn’t help. Just gave us the usual uninstall and reinstall instructions which did nothing….. it took an hour last night and nothing was resolved. I’m not interested in taking more of our time to do the same thing today. Do you have any other tips besides uninstalling the app?
we’re also trying to understand why the sound works in the app on our iPhone but not our Samsung tv?

We recently had a report that this is a general outage and our team is working on a resolution. In the meantime please go to Bally Sports channels and check that the setting for audio is on default not alternate (this can be found under the comment bubble where closed captioning is found). once that is done please share the results.
