Option to save a DVR recording longer than 90 days

I wonder if DirecTV Stream has any plans in the future to allow customers to mark some of their DVR recordings for long term storage?  I record concerts off of AXSTV and listen to them many times. It would be really nice to save these recordings until I decided to delete them not have them deleted in 90 days.  I wonder if other customers would benefit from a feature like this?

I've heard that they might lengthen it to 9 months, but expecting to keep it indefinitely is unrealistic.

I would be willing to pay an additional fee to store them indefinitely.

Hello @DanFleming, your thoughts about our features help us to work on improving our service.

At the moment, the recordings expire after 90 days. We'll pass along your feedback about how you feel about it.

We're here to hear you.

All the current services that have no expiration date also have an hour limit, that you can store.

I agree 100%.  I'd be willing to pay for a 9 month limit

The limit is currently 9 months. This thread was started 2 months ago. They changed it to 9 months right after this thread was started.

All I can say is that as I write this - Directv stream is deleting 2 of my programs recorded exactly 90 days ago.  Two more are scheduled to be deleted tomorrow.  That 9 month deal might be for new subscribers only.  I find it very frustrating that the 90 day limit isn't negotiable.

@BennyProfane1 well unfortunately most streaming services have these limitations so you wouldn’t be able to avoid them by simply changing streaming providers. Additionally, if having a recording indefinitely is important, you’d sub to a satellite or cable service.

@BennyProfane1

Recordings made before the switch to 9-month storage are still subject to the original 90-day limit.
