The game likely went beyond the scheduled time and DIRECTV's Cloud DVR isn't smart enough yet to know this and continue recording the game. We usually suggest recording the program after the sports game airing in case it goes to overtime or otherwise ends later than expected.

Failed. The game wasn't even over. Such a fail. You claim to never cut a game short either. Hence I don't tape the next show. Regretful
