Poor PBS (channel 13 in Dallas) quality.
The screen goes black at times while audio continues or pixelates or freezes at times. I know of 2 other people with the same issue. I was told this happens on both satellite and streaming DTV services.

That would be a problem with your local PBS station in your market. You already confirmed that two other people have similar issues, which rules out the fact that the problem sticks with your equipment. It’s best to get in contact with PBS and make them aware of the issue. That way, they can get it fixed promptly. Although, to see the issue on DIRECTV and DIRECTV STREAM seems somewhat interesting.
