Problem with Roku Loading Channels
Hi,
I have three Rokus. Two of the are Roku Ultras (4800X) and they are working fine.
The problem child is a Roku Streaming Stick+ (3810) and this problem has been going on for the past couple of weeks.
The problem is that when I when I turn on the TV, the Roku tries to display the last channel watched. It appears to select the channel, displays the current program, and then just hangs.
If I try to select another channel with the left or right key, the same thing happens.
If arrow down and the select something from my library, the app crashes. When I reopen it, I can load what I want and everything seems OK.
If I turn off the TV and come back later, I have to go through the same cycle.
As I said, this happens only on this particular Roku and is a fairly new behavior.
Here is the system info for the Roku and the app info for Directv:
- Checking for a Roku SW Update
- Rebooting the Roku
- Checking for a Directv app update
- Removing and reinstalling the app
And none of these changes made any difference.
Any ideas out there?

After a very unproductive chat session, I have narrowed this issue down to the point where I can replicate.
The problem is related to last channel watched (on another connection). It only happens on at least one channel.
I am going to do more research on this and see if I can identify a group of channels that cause this before I approach Customer Support again.
