I’m on Stream and no box, Choice package. Unlike my our old satellite, the only thing that is extended is Sports, I’ve been a streamer now for 3 months and watch a lot of sports. Many extra innings and overtime’s and never a miss. What I do now for award shows etc.. is record the next couple of programs.

Randy, thank you for reaching us. The only recordings we auto-extend are live broadcasts and sporting events in case those overextend. You can check how much it can be extended on this article https://www.directv.com/support/article/000093680. However, this idea sounds amazing. This "idea" (which the other DirecTV/AT&T video services offer and have forever) has been requested since the DirecTV Now DVR feature was in beta test almost 6 years ago, so it's hardly an amazing idea.
