Recording First Run showings only

That didn't work for me. Still records everything

If you already set it to record, delete all recording options. Then go back and select only New Shows and then click the OK after that. It's a little difficult at first but it does work. 

I have done that 3 times. Each time all the reruns still show up on upcoming recordings. I have tried all suggestions I have found from the forms. I wish it would record just the channel set original new recording to and that's it. But instead it does any channel the shows on, which are all reruns

I have the same problem. I have selected the "New Episodes Only" option, but still get extraneous episodes from "secondary" channels.

Nothing you can do about it until they get a channel choice when you set up a recording. Just delete the shows you don't want to watch. Not a big deal until they ad more recording options (if they ever do)
