recording stuff I didn't set to record
recently my dtv stream device has been recording show that I have not set up to record. for example I have baseball games and TV series recording that i did not set to record, a single episode or series. I check upcoming recording and it's full of stuff I don't want. I delete the stuff and a few hours later they are back, what could be causing this?

This is interesting. I should nave qualified my response with the fact that I have Directv Satellite.
So both the satellite and streaming services have this bug? Uhh, does anyone see a pattern here? :)
What possible technical justification could there be for the condition that you must change your email account?

The only response I got from tech support was it will fix the problem, which it did nothing at all! But get this I can still login to my account on other devices using the old email address and password. Plus we only record 3 different show and they are set to record new episodes only!

This has been happening to me for months (in 2023!)! I’m the only one uses the DTV Satellite (and has a password before you ask). I’ve gone into my “recording manager” and these specific shows are not reflected there!
Further, I then reviewed my series manager and two of the three were set up to record FUTURE seasons. I reluctantly deleted those to hopefully stop the insanity, however, it’s still recording them!! The others are NOT reflected anywhere!
There has to be a bug in the system somewhere. I have not called CS yet as this silliness is just not in my daily chores!!

We recently have noticed shows we recorded being deleted and other shows being recorded neither my Wife or I recorded. Also our regular favorites disappearing and replaced with sports stations we never watch. Direct stream tv

We have 6 t0 12 programs on different channels about every day that has one or more programs set to record.
