The Direct TV Stream app does not appear to work with the Roku Ultra 4802R. Any suggestions?

Update:

I rebooted my router and Roku and now the Direct TV Stream app works with my Roku.

I want to thank everyone for their comments, I appreciate the help.

Kind Regards

1> What is it doing or not doing, when you open the app?
2. Do other apps work on the Roku?

All my other apps work fine. The Direct TV Stream app starts but gives the message "Hmmm... This videos taking longer to load than it should.". After a few minutes the message changes to "Oops something went wrong This content has an issue and can't play. Give it another try or select something else to watch."  I try different channels with the same result. When I use an older Roku 3, the app works fine.

I just got the Roku 4802 a few days ago and the Directv Stream app has been working fine.

Have you tried uninstalling and reloading the app? Sometimes apps get corrupt and need to be reloaded.

My Ultra is working fine, no issues.

Lots of posts on the Ultra having issues. Seems like there is some kind of compatibility issue with that model. Do a search on the Ultra and catch up on the issues.

Puzzling. Working fine on my Roku Ultra. My Roku is connected via Ethernet. Perhaps you can try that if your Roku is connected via WiFi.

Those hmmm messages and ooops sounds like an IP / billing zip code/address issue. Is your billing zip code on file with Dtv stream current? Try restarting your internet modem/router and restart your roku as well. How long have you had Dtv Stream?

My Ultra 4802 is connected via ethernet and has been working fine.  I have seen some complaints about this model on the Reddit forum.  Are you connecting via wifi?  If you are, try ethernet and see if that makes a difference.
