Have you restarted the app? Have you reinstalled the app?

more info:
I have had this problem on and off since I signed up. When I call in the back office fixes it within 4-5 hours. I have called Roku and they say that it is an ongoing problem that they are aware of on the direct tv stream side, and I have to work with direct tv stream. When I called today the csr says that it is not direct tv stream problem and I should call Starlink ( my ISP) I do not have thhe problem on my phone which also goes thru starlink.

Oh now you provide more info, Starlink! As we all know, Starlink offers a variable IP address. If that is the issue then I understand.
Roku's don't have location services or GPS. That is why you have issues with losing channels. Cell phones do. They know where you are and offer content based on where you are located.

So you are saying that Starlink is the problem?

Just the way Starlink works. Your IP address is always changing with those types of internet connection. Even T-Mobile and others.

Would a VPN help?

Using a VPN is blocked if they can detect it. A VPN is generally used to try to bypass location limitations and that very well may violate their content licenses with the networks, so they don't allow it.

Appreciate your help. Can you think of any way to make it work?

Change ISP that offers an IP address for your modem based on your zip code.

Don’t have that option. Would a direct tv stream box have the same problem?

Probably, if the IP address coming from Starlink is not in an area associated with your billing address, then yes. I am assuming your issue is with local channels and regional sports channels that are not being available. Correct?

I understand what you’re saying about the location situation and that is probably part of the problem. But the other part is that I can’t watch programming in the library that is on channels that I can watch

Well if the recording are from locals in your home based then they are region locked. So if your internet (connection) is outside your home base, then that may be the issue.
You need to understand the blame is not Roku or DirecTV. The FCC requires that these services provide correct channels to the subscriber based on their location. Advertisers pay for their commercials to be voiced to their home base clients. They get pretty upset when they do not reach their attended audience.

Understood on the location aspect. But I can’t watch library that on channels that I can still watch. The two problems always happen at the same time. The problem will not happen for a month. I call direct tv and the next day everything works good. I have a hard time believing that I am the only one that is using starlink with roku box on direct tv stream that is having this problem.

You are not. The Starlink issue has been reported numerous times. Suggest you do a search on "Starlink". Even do Google searches. There is a vast amount of history available everywhere with Starlink. They also have a user forum for you to research.
