Samsung tv smart view/mirroring
With the new app there are black bars all the way around the pictue when I'm in full screen. The old app mirrored to my Samsung tv with no black bars and a complete full screen on my TV. How do I fix this?

How are you mirroring to your Samsung TV? Do you have the physical DIRECTV STREAM app? Have you tried restarting your Samsung TV and reinstalling any apps?

The Samsung TV and the Samsung phone have the ability to mirror the phone screen to the tv screen, the old direct tv app on my phone would mirror to the tv in a complete full screen, but the new direct tv app mirrors with black bars all the way around the picture making the viewing area much smaller. Looking for a fix to this or having direct tv fix this bug issue...

Do you really mean DirecTV, the satellite service or DirecTV Stream, the internet streaming service?

Have you tried your Samsung tv settings. I have a Samsung 4k tv and in the picture settings--picture size--u can fit to screen and zoom/position.
