Screen freezes, stutters, etc
I subscribed to Directv primarily to watch the KC Royals on Bally Sports Kansas City - channel 671. Unfortunately this is the channel I have the most problem with. During the game broadcast, the screen freezes, stutters frequently. Today it took forever for the channel to come on. My connection speed ranges from 90 to 120 mb. Usually, there are 2 tvs watching the game at the same time. I am ready to say just forget the Royals and go back to Youtube.

QN55Q6DTAF Samsung tv. It happens frequently. Pretty much every game. Some days are worse than others.

For a few months now there have been plenty of reports of Samsung TV-related issues, however, seems the reports have decreased lately... as a first step I'd recommend using an external device to stream like an Osprey box / Roku / FireTV / AppleTV and see how it looks like - if you have a mobile device (phone or tablet) see how it looks like over there... in that way, you will see if this is related to the channel itself or the device or connectivity (however you confirmed it's not). I think the ACEs here will concur.

The Samsung app for the Smart TV has many issues. 100's of posts on the inferior performance of the app. Been this way for years with little improvement. Most subscribers have opted to use external devices. I would suggest that you pursue this option if you still want to stay with the service.

I guess I should be more specific. My Internet provider is Google Fiber. I am watching a Samsung tv wirelessly thru a Chromecast. My connection speed is normally around 110 mb. I have never seen it lower than 90 mb. There are normally 2 tvs watching the Royals games (Bally Sports Kansas City) at the same time. I dont seem to have this problem with other channels. I'll try watching the games on my tablet and see if I get the same results.
