Search Doesn’t Display Library
When I search for a show, the results only display episodes scheduled to air in the future. In order to find recorded episodes in the library I’m forced to go into the ‘all recordings’ list and scroll through a list of hundreds of items in the library to find what I’m looking for. If you can’t easily search for recordings, then what’s the point?
there’s nothing more annoying than having to scroll through a list of titles for ten minutes trying to find a specific recording when the search function should do it in seconds.

Unfortunately, that’s just how a List works. If I’m not mistaken there are ways to organize the recordings by alphabetical order or when it aired.

Hello, @Rocco212. Happy to help!
To easily watch your DVR recordings:
1. Press LIST on your remote to access your playlist.
2. Choose your recording and press SELECT to watch it.
Also remember that you can set preferences. Find more information on how to use your recordings options.
If further help is needed or if you have any additional observation, we'll be here.

Sadly, you are mistaken, the list is organized by the time a program aired/was recorded, the only other option is to view upcoming recordings, which doesn’t solve this problem. Thank you for telling me how a list works, however, I would like to know why recordings aren’t easily searchable. Every other streaming platform has mastered the art of searching, guess Direct Tv is still trying to figure it out.
Just out of curiosity, you’re not a directctv employee? Do you just respond to thousands of intriguing comments on this message board for fun?

@Rocco212
Is such a question directed toward me or DIRECTVhelp?
If it was me then I am a customer just like you on a public forum offering assistance. I thought my response was nothing insulting or otherwise mean toward you or anyone else. If it is then I’m not sure how.
