Selecting local markets
I have Directv Stream and live between the Dallas/Ft. Worth and Tyler Markets in East Texas. We are closer to Tyler but get the DFW local stations. Why can we get both since the channel numbers do not overlap?

TV providers are restricted in only providing you locals for your Designated Market Area (DMA). For locals outside your DMA, a regular over-the-air (OTA) antenna can bring in whatever is in range, no matter what side of the line it is on.
