Shows series set to record, not recording

The shows set to record series, but are not recording.  I've checked via the mobile app, tvs, roku, and web browser on computer.  The recordings are not there.  I have cleared cookies and cache, uninstalled and reinstalled apps.  Still no difference.  This is happening on multiple shows.  This kind of defeats the purpose of having dvr cloud.

That should not be happening. What series are you setting? Does anything record at all? (Even regular traditional one-time recordings.)

problem is series recordings only.  Single recordings work fine.  Problem occurs mostly on Fox News Channel.  But seems to happen on other channels as well.  Example, the show "The Five" I have set to record all episodes in the series and Friday it did not record, but did the 3 days prior

Are those Series Recordings set for "All Episodes" or "New Episodes"? 

If the network's Guide Data is incomplete the DVR might not know it's an episode that it should record. This seems to be a common issue on FNC.

Joe. Same here. On FNC series recording set for new episodes of the Five and Tucker Carlson. For a few days not recording. I just went and deleted both of the series recordings and then programmed a new series recording. So far one show is recording. I don’t know what’s gone wrong.

It's a problem with FNC Guide Data. Be sure to contact FNC also.

We’re aware of some technical difficulties impacting recordings, and we're on it. As a workaround, please cancel and restart the series recording. Thanks, DIRECTV

I am having this problem on CBS with wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. I already tried canceling and resetting the series. Set for all new. Please help.

All the returning series which I always record from CBS did not record the first episode this month (FEB).   FBI, NCIS  Now I am forced to watch on demand and suffer with the ads! What is wrong and when will it be fixed!

I have problems with SNY only. It is set to record but does not record. And it shows that the shows will be recorded in the future recording list. And I dumped my satellite for this? What a mistake!!

My Direct TV will not record and a message comes up saying that the picture is Streaming and nothing can be recorded. I have a second TV in my bedroom that is working by Satellite and not Streaming and I can record on that TV so I believe the Dish is working fine. Could the Direct TV Box be faulty? How would I get that fixed?

I've only experienced on the local PBS station. We'll now it seems to be recording but I had to set it to record 3 times tonight! Mr. Bates vs the Post Office. Also happened last Monday for Antiques Roadshow, but it allowed me to record the rerun on Saturday.

I've been having the same issue for 2 years and they've yet to fix it despite contacting customer service. It's definitely a series recording problem, but even without setting up a series, if you try to set up a recording of two successive shows with the same name manually, only the first show will record.

And even with setting up only new shows to record, I keep getting tons of recordings which are from On Demand which I will not use due to annoying commercials.
