Solutions for deleting programs in Continue Watching section?

Is there a solution yet to delete shows that appears in the Continue Watching section on DirecTVstream.  Even watching them to the end no longer deletes show but rolls into the next in the episode.  DirecTVstream nees to do better

Why is it I can't delete Continue Watching or delete a Series of a program or stop Direct Tv from adding to series.  I was able to do this before If I recall now I can't..  I believe this all started with the last update that I had to apply for Direct Tv. So it looks like this is yet another problem that will not be answered much like why your remote control that eats up batteries Practically every week. Of course I sent an article about that also and got no answer, that one I assumed that has to do with the STUPID feature of sending to the fire stick information about not using your remote, replace your battery or when your battery is getting weak.  What I did is tossed the remote that came with a new version of the fire stick.  I have Fire stick in my bed room an older version and it does not have this feature

that uses the Remote to send information about the battery or sort of being scolded that

I'm not using the Remote that came with the fire stick..

Part of the time when I want to watch a program I've recorded....I click on it and all I get is the option to delete it.   I don't want to delete it!  I want to watch it.  Am I doing something wrong?

I finally found out how to remove programs from the continue watching list. 1. The continue watching list could be from a program from a on-demand program. #2 or from a app like HBO MAX.

The only way to get rid of that program is to play it all the way to then end. If it is a tv series, you have to play the last seasons episode all the way to the end. Once is it finished. It will disappear. I was able to remove every program that was showing up as "continue watching" list.
