Sound cuts out on app

We have a Samsung smart tv and the past two months or so it has gotten really bad where we can’t watch live or recorded tv on it because it cuts out the sound every few seconds. It’s not the tv. It’s not the speakers (as every other app works fine with no issues). We have tried removing and reinstalling. Nothing works. Is there an update coming soon to make it so we can actually use what we pay for or is it just time to cancel?

There are lots of issues with the app fpr Samsung Smart TV's. Been reported for months. You needs to abort the use of the app and go with a external sreaming device.

The Samsung DirecTV Stream App is junk. You'll have a much better experience with a $30 Roku or FireStick.
