Sound issues with Direct TV Stream and roku
I see I"m not the only one having these problems and I will be cancelling soon because it is very frustrating. Watching a show or sporting event and suddenly the volume goes down to almost nothing or it starts screeching really loud with static. This has been going on since it was AT&T Now. Is this ever going to get resolved?

What device are you using?
Are you listening to the audio, on your TV, a sound bar, or a AVR Receiver?

Listening to the audio directly from my tv, but even when I switch to my sound bar the same thing happens.

I have seen this on the Roku stream stick with using TV audio. Usually switching channels clears the issue

@ttujr97 what are you talking about? They asked me if I use the tv sound or a sound bar. I said it doesn't matter which one I use because it happens with either, and then you directed them to a question about the tennis channel? (Edited per community guidelines)? Yes, switching channels back and forth does work, but who wants to keep doing that all the time? Please let them answer my question and stay out of it. Thanks.

@ttujr97 That's okay. I didn't realize they had replied. Thank you for letting me know and sorry for my harsh response. I'm still waiting for a reply from them however. This is very frustrating.

@azgolfa no worries - the issue you are reporting is frustrating. We have both the Ruko and Apple TV. I can't say that I've noticed it with Apple TV, but definitely with the Ruko app. I am using it without a soundbar and have seen it on Samsung and Vizo TV. For me, it happens maybe once a week. I have just gotten used to changing the channels to fix it.

If it was once a week, it would be fine. But mine is happening every 20-30 minutes.
