Still Stream free on ATT mobile phone?

Before ATT TV became Direct TV stream, I could stream on my ATT mobile phone service without it counting against my bandwidth limits. Is this still the same with DTV Stream ?

Ignore @DIRECTVhelp, which as usual has no idea what the question was (or much of anything else).

AT&T sponsored (free) data for the video services went away back in March - long before the DirecTV split.  AT&T blamed a court case that authorized the California net neutrality law to take effect for their need to end it.  The law basically forbids zero rated (sponsored) data that favors the company's own products.  Technically this applied only in California, but AT&T said (with some justification) that given the nature of the internet, it's not practical to apply it only there, so they ended the sponsored data everywhere.  (I believe they also could have complied with the law by providing sponsored data to all video services from all companies, but that wasn't happening.)

It's unclear whether if that hadn't happened they would have maintained sponsored data for the DirecTV video services or not, but that became a moot question.

@BigBear, thanks for reaching back out!

DIRECTV streaming is a pre-paid service, which would not be compatible with any previous bandwidth limits plans.
