Hit the apps button the Dtv Stream remote. Go to google play store and you get apps there.

If you are looking for a specific app you could always do a voice search by pressing the round mic button in the middle of your remote it should take you directly to the app you want to download. Hope this helps.

thank you. sometimes this works -- sometimes DTV just stares and does not progress. i'll be patient and keep trying until it work.s
