The HISTORY Channel ...

I record everything I watch.  This week I watched 3 recently recorded shows on the HISTORY CHANNEL.  The top of the picture pulled to the right and the bottom pulled to the left numerous times, and, heavily pixelated off and on.  One show was 4 hours and I could barely get through it.  The HISTORY channel is one of my "must have" channels.  What's going on?  Anyone else?  Direct TV Stream people?

Haven't recorded anything from the History Channel, but watched a few shows, lately, without any problems.

Ancient Aliens, Ancient Aliens Declassified (4 hrs), and The Proof is out There.

Geez, now you know my interests .... LOL

But seriously, all three have been unwatchable.  Just a minute ago I was watching a recording of Inside Edition from last night and it went into SD. And it wasn't my 600 mpbs/20 upload internet because when I RW and replayed, the same failures were imbedded in the recording.   I have to tell you as a devoted customer of DTV Satellite, the picture quality in general of DTV STREAM is not up to snuff.

Also, I have FNC (360) on most of the day and its 720p consistently whereas CNN and MSNBC are 1080p.  I just don't get it.

I DVR all those shows haven't seen that issue. I was a Dtv satellite sub for 15 yrs and I think the stream picture quality is equivalent. Fox News broadcasts in 720p that's what u are seeing it in 720p. MSNBC and CNN broadcast 1080.
